We offer hand-picked live rock that is housed and shipped from our Maryland coral farm and retail outlet location. We import live rock weekly and hand-pick every piece for you according to your needs, just let us know what size pieces you need.

Good live rock is the biological base for your aquarium. It is important to have about 1 to 2 pounds of live rock per gallon for your reef or fish-only tank. All live rock should be cured before adding to your established tank, or you may cure live rock in your newly set up tank.

Our rock is tanked and curing in our vats and not sitting in the box. Depending upon when we received the rock and when you order it may have been curing here for 1-3 weeks, because of this you may notice less coralline coverage on some of the curing rock. Some coralline does die off during the curing process, but will re-grow as the rock cures if your calcium and alkalinity levels are stable and at the correct levels.
