This type of rock is an excellent choice for your reef or fish only aquarium. It has good coralline algae coverage and other marine life encrusted, every piece of rock naturally varies in coralline coverage, size, and shape.

Generally it is recommended that you use about 2 pounds of this rock per gallon, this varies with your personal aquascaping style. 

We do charge $10 per box for packaging, up to 50 pounds will fit in one box. You are charged for actual weight of rock, for shipping calculations the shipping weight includes total box weight and this includes the weight of the rock and the weight of the box and any packing materials--usually about 5 or so pounds per box.

Our shopping cart will not add shipping for live rock orders. Once you place your order online we will call you to confirm your order and all charges including shipping, your credit card is not charged until we confirm and ship your order. 

You are welcome to hand-pick you own rock at our Maryland facility, please call a day or two before you wish to come in to be sure we have enough rock in stock. We ship rock daily and sell out quickly so it is always best to check our stock level before coming down. We are open Monday-Saturday 11-5.
